Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to learn about clearing a record or restoring rights, and to reach us, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Pages work with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Text meets contrast guidelines in both the light and dark themes.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations are turned off. Moving text has a pause button.
- Forms have labels, say which fields are required, and explain errors in words.
- We test with automated accessibility checks and by hand, and we fix what we find.

You never need to use the website to work with us. We can go through everything on the phone, including the intake questions and the eligibility questions.
