These terms cover your use of clearmyrecord.com and our client portal (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who we are
Clear My Record is a trade name of Knowles Law Firm, PLC, a law firm in Mesa, Arizona ("the Firm," "we," "us"). Our attorneys are licensed in Arizona, and we currently accept matters in Arizona. Pages about other states describe services we plan to offer there; they are not an offer to provide legal services in those states.
No legal advice; when we become your lawyers
The site offers general information about record clearing and rights restoration. It is not legal advice about your situation, and laws change and differ from state to state. Contacting us, sending a form, or taking the eligibility quiz does not create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and the Firm sign an engagement agreement. Until then, please don't rely on the site or an unsigned conversation as advice about your case, and be aware that deadlines may apply to you.
The eligibility quiz
The quiz gives a general estimate based only on your answers. It is not a determination that you qualify or don't, and it can't account for every fact of your case. An attorney needs to review your record before advising you. Results depend on the facts of each case, and past results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
How we contact you
When you send us a form, you agree that we may call or email you about your request, using the details you gave us. We don't send text messages from our website forms. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by telling us on the phone or emailing info@clearmyrecord.com.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone else is using your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or unlawful information.
- Access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Disrupt, probe, or try to get around the security of the site.
- Upload malware or use the site to break any law or anyone's rights.
Documents and information you send
You keep ownership of the information and documents you send us. You allow us to store and use them to respond to you and, if you hire us, to handle your matter. You confirm that you have the right to share what you send.
Fees
Fees for legal work are set out in writing in your engagement agreement before any work begins. Nothing on the site is a promise of a particular fee for your matter.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will always be available, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Firm is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the site. This section and the next apply to use of the website only. Nothing in these terms limits the Firm's duties or liability to its clients under the Arizona Rules of Professional Conduct or any engagement agreement.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify the Firm against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Arizona law, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about the site will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
